Invitation AFG OPEN International 2024
We are happy to be back in AFG Open International 2024, placed to happen on 12 May, just one day before ADCC Asia & Oceania Championship 2024 in the Rangsit University, Bangkok, Thailand. We will be there with all our team shooting pictures and representing BJJ Lifestyle Community. Come over to our table and get a free BJJ sticker!
Here are some important informations:
The AFG OPEN International is happy and proud to announce coach Leandro Buda is back to serve as our head referee at our event.
With the AFG OPEN International 2024 approaching we have good news! Weigh-in will be possible on May 10, 11 and 12!
May 10: At the free seminar, ONLY FOR THOSE SIGNED UP!
May 11: During the ADCC Trials event from 10am-4pm at the BKK Fight Gear booth
May 12: On event day 8am-9am
Weight-in in the same attire you compete in. For No-Gi Gi shorts is mandatory, rashguard and spats optional. For Gi any color goes, any weight goes, but NO rip stop gi tops and surely no Karate uniforms (Judo is allowed). Gi tops must be pearl weave material, lightweight is OK.
At the AFG OPEN, we always strive to ensure that everyone gets a chance to compete. We've noticed that there are several categories with only one person registered. We want all these athletes to have the opportunity to compete, so we're offering the following to everyone! If you see a category with only one person and you'd like to have an additional match, free of charge, please let us know, and we'll sign you up.
- In the same weight category or move up to a higher one, like one (or more) weight classes.
- In the same belt category or move up to compete at a higher rank. However, we'll only allow this if both athletes, parents (if the participants are kids), and coaches agree.
